Amanda Summers, LCPC

Hi, I’m Amanda.

I work with both individuals and couples who are hoping to utilize therapy to address specific concerns and engage in self reflection and growth. My goal is to create an environment where each client feels empowered to explore their own journey in therapy.

Why choose to work with me?

Using a Relational approach I help clients process patterns of relationships throughout their lives while seeking out positive support systems to help them cope with feelings of depression, anxiety, trauma or relational issues.

I have training in prenatal and postnatal counseling and have experience with working with women and families who are pregnant, new parents and those struggling with infertility or loss. In addition, I have completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy training for couples which I utilize during couples therapy to help individuals better understand and communicate their emotions and needs to their partner.

We cannot always avoid the pain in our lives, but through connections with others we may find the support we need to work through that pain. I hope therapy can be another positive connection for you.
